Day 1

Dehradun to Gangotri

o Altitude 3100 mtr. o Pick up time 06.00 am at the parking of Dehradun railway station o Stay in Guest House o Drive 241 km (8 hrs) o Local Market and network is available o Route:Dehradun – Mussorie –Uttarkashi- Harshil – Gangotri

Day 2

Gangotri (10171 ft) to Bhojwasa (12435 ft)

o Altitude 11680 ft to 12435 ft 4-5 hrs trek o Entire trek in Gangotri National Park o Accommodation in tent o Hot lunch serve at campsite o Birch (Bhojpatra) forests in the area o Ashram, police post and rest house available o Mt. Bhagirathi massif view from camp area

Day 3

Bhojwasa (12435 ft) Gaumukh (13452 ft) Back to Bhojbasa

o Altitude 14600 ft 5-6 hrs trek o Accommodation in tent o Hot lunch/pack lunch o No water points, it’s advisable to carry at least 2 liters of water o Challenging day of the trek o Carry energy bars, ors and water o Trek begins over rocky boulders and becomes noticeably steep gradually over the rocky terrain

Day 4

Bhojbasa (11680 ft ) to Gangotri (10171 ft) Depart to Dehradun.

o Altitude 3100 mtr. 4-5 hrs trek, 14 km o Spring and manmade water point are available o Depart to Dehradun in a cab.

o First timer can apply, should have some interest in trekking and mountaineering.
o The climber should be able to carry a 5-10 kg backpack.
o Heart problem, high blood pressure, asthma, and epilepsy cannot be reconciled on this mission. The climber must not have the conditions mentioned above.

Delhi → Dehradun → Gangotri
The base camp for the Gaumukh Tapovan trek is Gangotri, around 230 km from from Dehradun.
Gr8 Himalaya organizes transport from Dehradun to Gangotri. The pick up is at 6.00 am from Dehradun Railway Station on Day 1. The cab fare is Rs.7,500 per vehicle. This is not included in the Package cost. You will reach Gangotri at around 5.00 pm. The trek begins at Gangotri the next morning.
